Andrea Isella is a Chemical Engineer who earned his Master’s Degree at Politecnico di Milano in 2021. Andrea won the Ph.D. grant and today joins the PSE-Lab.
His research will focus on the «Green production of base chemicals» in collaboration with Casale SA, a Swiss company specialized in the technologies and know-how for the production of base chemicals. As part of his research, he will focus on the decarbonization of the production of base chemicals such as ammonia, methanol, nitrates. The project represents an important step to reduce the carbon footprint of the chemical industry and contribute to reach the Paris Climate Accords.
In addition to the research activity at PSE-Lab, Andrea is collaborating as assisting tutor for the “Process Systems Engineering†(Master Course) at Politecnico di Milano.
