Clément Boisard is a French student who is about to graduate from the National Polytechnic Institute of Chemical and Industrial Engineering and Technology (ENSIACET) of Toulouse, France, with a Bachelor in Process Engineering and Computer Science.
Clément worked for three months at PSE-Lab for an internship on Dynamic Conceptual Design under the direction of prof. Manca.
His main research topic at PSE-Lab was the econometric modeling of crude oil quotations to forecast long-term periods for feasibility studies of chemical processes/plants. The uncertainties and fluctuations of oil prices (either WTI or Brent) are the most important features of econometric models. Clément’s contributions allowed preparing a shared conference paper and possibly will help more extended researches to be finalized in a Journal article.
Clément continued a rather long tradition of ENSIACET students who come every year to Politecnico di Milano and work at PSE-Lab on specific and challenging three-month projects (usually from July to September).
