Research at PSE-Lab has been carried out since the ’90 of last century.
The main driver for research is modeling and simulation. This activity is based on a pervasive and extended use of computers to describe systems, equipment, processes, and plants. It uses as efficient tools numerical analysis, computer algorithms, and programming languages to implement the programs that allow describing the features to be studied, investigated, and analyzed.
The modeling has gone even further and in recent years touched new investigation spheres such as human body, human factors, and operator training.
