The assessment of operators cannot be reliable until the integration of concepts and theories from Human Factors is considered.
Every task demands difference cognitive processes. One shoe fits for all is not the answer to the development of Operator Performance Indicators. Thus, OPIs should be subjective to the processes and tasks. In addition, a weighing criteria among OPIs makes the assessment reliable and consistent.
The software developed in PSE lab i.e., Performex, integrates both Key Performance Indicators and Operator Performance Indicators.
